It is a lightweight, low-friction and wear-resistant material with good physical and processing properties. There are two types of Acetals: Copolymers or hom*opolymersthat are available in our extensive warehouse. Types of Acetal
Acetal is a rigid, strong material that is available in copolymer and hom*opolymer compounds. Its properties include low moisture absorption, good chemical resistance and good dimensional stability
Using the latest technologies and highest quality standards, we can machine & fabricate Delrin into fittings, gears, seals, gaskets, wear parts, rollers and more.

15% or 20% glass fiber filler provides much greater mechanical properties over unfilled acetals.

hom*opolymer acetal is most commonly recognized as Delrin, resins that are currently made by the DuPont Company under the trade name Delrin®AF. hom*opolymers have slightly higher mechanical and thermal properties than Copolymers.

Metal Detectable Acetal
This copolymer acetal grade, containing a metal detectable additive, has been specifically tailored for use in the food processing and packaging industries where it can easily be traced by the conventional metal detection systems installed to detect contamination of the foodstuffs (results may vary depending on the sensitivity of the metal detection system used).

Pomalux® is a high performance acetal copolymer that has excellent mechanical, electrical, and wear properties. It is engineered to provide outstanding dimensional stability, even machining parts with complex geometries.

PTFE Filled hom*opolymer
PTFE fibers uniformly dispersed in Delrin®AF Acetal resin offers better wear characteristics than unfilled Delrin®AF Acetal, particularly for use in moving parts in which low friction and long wear life are important

Static Dissipative Copolymer
This non-carbon filled acetal contains a permanantly static dissapative material designed for use where electrical discharge in operation is a problem. Additives such as carbon fibers, stainless steel fibers are all used to modify the electrical resistivity of acetal resin so that static charge can dissipate safety through the material.

Sustarin® C copolymer has a number of benefits, including strength, tenacity, and toughness in a temperature range of 50-120°C. As a dedicated engineering material, it is now used in applications that were once the domain of metals.

Unfilled Copolymer
Acetal (Copolymer) is a tough, stable thermoplastic offering a unique combination of properties which include high modulus of elasticity, high strength, rigidity and dimensional stability. Copolymer acetals can accept reinforcement much better than the hom*opolymer.
