The 27G (½ inch) needle is a short, fine needle used for injecting into the superficial veins of the arms, hands, feet and lower leg.
The 27G (½ inch) needle may not be long enough for anything but the most superficial veins of the hands and feet, and use of the longer ¾ inch 27G long grey needle could be used instead.
