The reel has great castability and features 4 gearing options with 25 lbs of smooth drag. For the money this is one of the better option out there if you are an inshore fisherman. The Quantum Cabo PTSE is a very good quality heavily sealed reel that is specifically designed for saltwater fishing. This is one of the larger spinning reels you will find and has a drag that matches it going all the way up to 65 lbs.
