Biography[]

Season 13[]

(13.8)

  • 23-years-old from California. She’s one of seven kids, so growing up was chaotic. It was nice being guaranteed to have six friends growing up. She went to Arizona State for their competitive dance team. They trained at AT&T Stadium, and seeing yourself on the jumbotron was amazing. [Shown posing with Carisa Rose and Ashley Nicole] She knew she wanted to be back one day. She found being at Arizona State overwhelming. She was working two jobs, was on the dance team (which was another full-time commitment), and a biology major. Juggling it all was difficult, and she decided to return to California after a year. She hates quitting, but realized after returning home that there’s no shame in asking for help. When you’re struggling, it’s important to know that the people who love you want to be there and support you. She then cheered for the San Diego Chargers for three seasons, and was a team captain her final year. Last August, she moved to Dallas, and she currently works as a veterinary technician. She loves animals, and currently has two pets (a little dog named George and a snake named Señor). She is recently engaged and is here with her fiancé. Becoming a DCC would be a dream come true.

Season 13: 16 (T10th most)

Season 14: 6

Season 13[]

(13.1)

  • [Auditions] "I don’t exactly know how I did, but I know that I didn’t fall on my face."

(13.5)

  • "Today, we are at Next Step Dance. We are going to be practicing with the alum from the DCC. They’re going to help us out with these dances that we’re supposed to perform tonight in front of Kelli and Judy."

(13.6)

  • [Uniform fitting] "I definitely don’t want to take it off any time soon, so I’m going to stall this as long as I can."
  • [Power Squad] "Jay reminded me of the gravity of the situation. I feel motivated now to go and try really hard and just give 100% to this process."

(13.7)

  • "Seeing Jasmin go home last week was really hard, I think just with that being the first one, it really hit all of us that this isn’t all fun and games, you know? This is getting really serious."
  • [Injury prevention workshop] "It is very physically taxing to do some slow movement like that. I think it takes a lot of concentration and it’s just a test of your overall balance."
  • "Making show group kind of felt like when they called my name for training camp all over again. It was that same kind of, “Wait… is that – my name’s Bridget. Okay, oh my gosh, this is so exciting.” And I feel very grateful to be on the team."

(13.8)

  • Biography

(13.10)

  • [Placed in triangle] "I feel very fortunate to be in the spot that I’m at. I’m actually right behind my group leader Lacey, so it’s going to make kind of nailing it and executing the way that it’s supposed to a lot easier for me."

(13.11)

  • [Teary] "Marty’s choreography was a little bit tricky. I did not feel confident. It’s nerve-wracking, but the worst thing that can happen is I just don’t make the team."
  • [Partial repeat of previous confessional after commercial break] … "I was lost in the foot work, and because of that, I felt like I looked like a completely different dancer from the rest of the girls."

(13.12)

  • "I wake up in the mornings, everything cracks. My hips, my knees, my ankles. I definitely can feel how training camp’s kind of wearing, tearing on our bodies."
  • [At Cowboys Fit] "I’ve used a cryo machine before and I was just telling Daphne it was so much more pleasant to have a friend to talk to and help get through the really cold process."

(13.13)

  • "My team! My team! My team! I made the team, I’m so excited."
  • [Game Day] "This will definitely be the biggest performance of my life. I’m really looking forward to doing our signature pre-game show, and getting to dance with all my girls on the field."
  • [Game sideline confessional] "I am feeling like I’m on top of the world. I don’t want it to end! I don’t want this game to end."

Season 14[]

(14.2)

  • There is a lot at stake, I think, going into this year now that I know what I could have. I had such an incredible season, and I do not want to lose that.

(14.3)

  • Coming together just kind of helps us give each other strength and remind us that once a DCC, always a DCC.

(14.10)

  • [Placed in third row of triangle] I’m very excited I got to move up a little bit from where I was last year. I’m incredibly happy to even be in the triangle.

(14.11)

  • [After fainting] I’m a little shaky, it’s just the gate of training camp. I think I’ve just kind of been overworked and not making sure that my body is okay and that I’m okay.

(14.12)

  • [After office] It went really well. They just wanted to make sure that I was okay. And I think it’s really sweet that they wanted to check in. I just didn’t do a good job of making sure that I was well-fed and nourished, so I made sure that today I was prepared. I feel great and I’m hydrated and just excited to go dance and be with my friends on the field.

(14.13)

  • I’m having so much fun. I feel exactly how I felt in my first game as a rookie.

  • I want you to watch how Khalyn prances to her place. – K/ It’s a sexy walk. It’s not stomping at all. – J

(13.11)

  • Let me see Bridget… See, so even how you walked out there, you were kind of nervous, right. So, I could tell that when I was teaching, and sometimes I could feel that from you. So, figure that out, ‘cause you don’t want that. And sometimes you rush some things, and you shouldn’t. You know what you’re doing. Obviously, you wouldn’t have made it this far. Be confident. – Marty Kudelka
  • The confidence that you just had in that is what you should have had in my portion as well. Because you looked like a different person, which is good. – Marty Kudelka

  • At out last rehearsal, Bridget fainted at the end of the kick line. [Flashback] So, the first thing I want to do is call Bridget into the office and find out exactly what happened and how she is. – K
  • Bridget, who was a very strong relater, is referring to [being sad about] a cut that we had just made. The 24 hours wasn’t long enough for her. She needs longer than that. Thought that was an interesting dynamic. – K

(14.13)

  • Bridget looks super strong. – K

Office Visits[]

Season 14[]

(14.12)

  • [Start of episode, during rehearsal at AT&T Stadium, only visit] Bridget light-heartedly says you always feel nervous coming into the office, and Kelli says they’re not calling her in for bad reasons, just to see how she’s coming along [since she fainted last practice]. Bridget’s good, just tired. This week has been tough, and she moved a few months ago, has a tough drive, and just started a new job this week, so has been waking up early. Kelli says the trained said she was dehydrated and hadn’t eaten. Kelli encourages her to take better care of herself, and remarks how difficult three hours of hard dancing can be. Bridget feels better today, and Kelli tells her she’s been a real rock star and has come to life this year. Bridget thinks there’s great energy in the locker room, and is happy to be a part of it.
