Cambridge Theatre Stalls

The Stalls section has a total of 498 seats, including accessible seating.

The biggest section of the theater, Stalls, has rows starting from A all the way to S. There is an aisle right in middle, dividing the section into two halves. The Stalls section fans out from the stage, getting wider the further you go back. This is the closest section to the stage and usually in such sections, if you are sitting in the first couple of rows you might have to look up, however, at this theater, the stage is relatively low so you do not have to strain your necks. Being the closest section, although the prices are higher when compared to the Upper and Dress Circle, the views are definitely worth it. If you are looking for a perfect West End experience and don’t mind shelling out a few extra bucks, this is the way to go.

Cambridge Theatre Dress Circle

The Dress Circle, is the smallest section of the theater and has rows starting from A till H. Unlike the Stalls section, the Dress Circle is split into 3 sub-sections (left, centre, right), courtesy of 2 aisles. According to most critics and audience reviews, the seats in this section, particularly the ones in the middle and front, offer the best views of the stage, some even better than the Stalls. Unlike most theatres, this section is actually pretty close to the stage.

Cambridge Theatre Upper Circle

This is the highest section of the theater and the furthest away from the stage, and hence the cheapest. With rows starting from A till M, this section is bigger than the Dress Circle but smaller than the Stalls. It is divided into 2 subsections by an aisle cutting the section horizontally. The front part is further divided into 3 subsections by 2 vertical aisles. Although the stage is in full view from here, you do have to lean forward a bit to catch the full action. If you are planning to go for the show with kids or someone short, you might want to avoid this section.

Which Seats Offer The Best View?

Given the size of the theatre, all the seats have a full and decent view of the stage. However, there are certain seats which stand out above the rest and will make your experience all the more joyful. Amongst the 3 sections, the Stalls have the best seats in terms of views of the stage. Seats on rows C through G are some of the highly rated ones due to the fact that it is not too close to the stage nor is it too far. They are perfectly placed for a wonderful view.

The Dress Circle also offers some great views of the stage. The recommended seats are 12-23 in rows A-D.

There are certain seats in the Upper Circle which also provide a tremendous view. Seats in rows C-F have great elevated views of the stage. In the Upper Circle section, it is always recommended to get seats in the front and middle section, particularly between seats Row C-F: Seat 13-23.

Which Seats Offer the Best Value for Money?

If you are not looking to spend too much money and still get a killer view of the stage whilst getting a bang for your buck, then look no further.

In the Stalls section, the rows L-P provide a good view, while at the same time, aren’t as expensive as the seats in the front. In the Dress Circle, seats in rows E-H provide good views at reasonable prices. The cheapest tickets can be found in the Upper Circle section. The best seats in this section are middle seats in rows A-F. If you can, try reserving seats in the middle of the row so that you can get a good look at all the action on stage.
