So you are saying someone 120 lbs. can hit a softball extremely hard with a shaved bat ? But can't hit a lick with a stock bat at 120 lbs.?
I'm not sure at 120 lbs. that someone can hit a ball hard enough to make a difference with either a stock bat or shaved bat .. and if they can, they will be hitting the ball hard with either bat (shaved or not).

I can't decide which is dumber ... people who think it's impossible for a shaved bat to pass compression, or people who believe somehow every shaved bat passes compression (or more stock bats fail than shaved, or whatever).

unfortunately compression tests are subject to the knowledge of the tester. there are a lot of bats that will pass an asa compression test before they have been hit e.g. tested a now cartel on monday and it passed. tested a dictator that had an ounce removed from it and it passed. on the other hand tested a 500 hit juggy and it failed, put the same bat in the freezer over night and it passed. so there are ways around a compression tester if some body really wants to cheat. cheaters seem to always find a way.

bro, it's a freaking chick, be happy derby girl wasn't there. She was at the superdraft this past weekend and was hitting further than most guys where. straight killing the ball. But again, it's a freaking chick. Look Shaved bats are here and they aren't going anywhere, now with that being said, shaved bats don't win ball games, getting more hits and runs than the other team does. go out, practice some, get better, and then you don't have a reason to ***** about shaved bats. that's what I had to do.

could it be shaved possibly. But you have to think this she was comfortable with said bat and a switch could have thrown her off and caused her to go 0-134. Also could her be you but don't want to say so in fear of being laughed at? I an going with this is you and you got called out for using a shaved stick and need a place to vent about your embarrassment. **** why don't you say that you kissed a guy in the process.

I agree, BS story. I've seen 5'4 girls swing shaved bats. Makes almost ZERO difference. And yes a shaved bat can pass a compression test.
