CELTIC and Rangers are the two biggest clubs in Scotland - but who has a higher average attendance?

UEFA have released detailed statistics of Europe’s highest average attendances in league matches during the 2017/18 season.
Both Celtic and Rangers have made the top 20, with Manchester United top of the list - followed by Borussia Dortmund.
Rangers, who play at the 50,817 capacity Ibrox, averaged 49,147 fans per game in the 2017/18 season.
Celtic, who play at the 60,832 capacity Celtic Park, averaged 57,523 fans across the same campaign.

Those figures mean that Celtic come in ninth in the European standings, ahead of Manchester City and Liverpool.
Rangers sit 19th on the list, ahead of French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
As a percentage of their capacity, Rangers have a higher figure, with 96.71%.
Celtic’s figure coming in slightly lower at 94.56%.

The Old Firm rivals are currently level at the top of the Scottish Premiership with 42 points each, but the Hoops do have a game in hand over Steven Gerrard’s Rangers.
The Gers beat their rivals 1-0 in December, which has left the title race wide open.
Celtic have won the last seven league titles in succession, but Brendan Rodgers is aware that Rangers pose a huge threat to that record.

The former Liverpool boss has been keen to add to his squad this month, after a disappointing summer window.
"Some real quality left the building and unfortunately we weren't able to replace that. It took us a wee bit of time to get going but we got into our rhythm again,” Rodgers told Sky Sports.
"We've improved with the three players we've brought in. I'm very confident that by the end of January we'll be very strong."
