Charge Interactions (2024)

Charge Interactions

The Charge Interactions Concept Builder engages the learner in using three simple rules regarding charge interactions in order to analyze a situation involving four, five, and six objects in an effort to determine the type of charge on each object. The three rules for charge interactions are: oppositely-charged objects attract each other, like-charged objects repel each other, and a neutral and a charged object attract each other. There are 24 total questions that are organized into 12 different Question Groups and spread across three difficulty levels. The three different levels of difficulty are distinguished from one another in terms of the number of objects involved and the complexity of their interactions.Question-specific help is provided for each of the 12 situations. Use of this Concept Builder with our Task Tracker system allows teachers to track student progress.
