CAN I WASH MY COMFY CUP?

We recommend washing your Comfy Cup™ after each wear, unless you are trying to scare your opponents away with your awful sweaty stench. To prolong the lifetime of your Comfy Cup, we recommend hand washing and air drying. However, if you forget every once in a while and leave it tucked inside your slider pants, the Comfy Cup™ is able to withstand a few machine washes and even some dryer time.

WILL THE COMFY CUP PROVIDE PROTECTION AGAINST A 100MPH FAST BALL?

The Comfy Cup® was designed to provide groin protection for youth athletes ages 7-11 years old in sports such as baseball, football, hockey, lacrosse, rugby and martial arts who would otherwise not wear a cup at all. It was designed to absorb the force of impact that youth athletes experience in athletics. Most 7-11 year olds don't pitch 100mph fast balls (thank goodness it's more like 36-59mph). In these videos, you will see how the Comfy Cup™ protects against the impact of a baseball and a 5-pound weight.

WHERE CAN I PURCHASE A COMFY CUP?

The Comfy Cup is currently available on Amazon and in the Overland Park, Kansas Scheels location. If you are a retailer and would like to carry Comfy Cup inventory at your store, you can submit a purchase order here or contact Brandi Russell at 1-260-BE-COMFY.

HAVE YOU DONE TESTING ON THE COMFY CUP?

YES! A big thanks to the ONHS Medical Professions Academy for the following testing results: Using a 10ft. PVC pipe with a diameter big enough for a baseball to fit through, a baseball was dropped from 10' onto the force plate. The Comfy Cup or Hard Cup was placed on top of the Force Plate and the force of impact was measured.

Qualitative observations of the Hard Cup vs. the Comfy Cup-

  1. The Hard Plastic Cup was starting to degrade after the pitching trials (it looked like it was cracking).
  2. The Hard Cup bounced all the way off the force place with every hit by a ball dropped from the pipe. It bounced far- far enough that we had to have a “cup retriever” to put it back in place between each trial. The Comfy Cup bounced sometimes, but never as far… which we think means that it absorbed the impact better (and would feel much better on skin/ bone) than the Hard Cup.
  3. The Hard Cup definitely showed more bruising on the fruit where the cup would theoretically hit the pubic bone of a boy.
  4. It was unanimously voted by the testers that they would prefer to use the Comfy Cup over the Hard Cup if they had to choose.

HOW DO I WEAR A COMFY CUP?

The Comfy Cup® fits easily into the pocket of boys compression shorts or slider shorts worn underneath your athletic pants. Check out this video on YouTube for detailed instructions: How to Wear a Comfy Cup™.

WILL THE COMFY CUP FIT A 12-YEAR OLD?

The Comfy Cup® fits most boys ages 7-11 years old, but as you know, people come in all shapes and sizes. The Comfy Cup® might fit some 12-year olds, but we cannot guarantee it. Likewise, we cannot guarantee that the Comfy Cup will fit ALL 7-11 year-olds. If you purchase a Comfy Cup® and it doesn’t fit, you can return it unused and un-sweaty (obviously) for a full refund.

CAN GIRLS WEAR A COMFY CUP?

The Comfy Cup™ was designed for boys ages 7-11 years old, it is not recommended for girls. Some girls have tried the Comfy Cup™ to protect their pubic area and shared that it is too big.

WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO MAKE BIGGER SIZES?

Comfy Cup LLC is busy working to create a Comfy Cup® for teenage boys and men. We understand that after the luxurious experience of wearing a Comfy Cup® your package might feel irritated at having to revert to the hard cup. We appreciate your patience as we embark on bigger and better things for the protection of your priceless package.

I TRIED TO DRINK OUT OF MY COMFY CUP. IT SPILLED EVERYWHERE...NOW MY SHIRT IS SOPPING WET!

The Comfy Cup® is not a container for consuming co*cktails. It is a protective device for male genitals, also known as an athletic protective cup. We are sorry if there was any confusion. However, in an emergency situation, a clean Comfy Cup could work as a face mask covering.

I WORE MY COMFY CUP AND IT WASN'T THE SOLUTION FOR ME. CAN I RETURN IT?

Yes. You can return your Comfy Cup® at any time if you are not satisfied. Even if you have worn it to a game. No questions asked. We offer a 100% money back guarantee. Send an email to: contactus@thecomfycup.com and we will provide you with all the details on how to return your Comfy Cup®.
