What is the strongest Elemental Reaction in Genshin Impact? ›

Melt is arguably one of the strongest reactions in the game, and it can easily take the slot of any other reactions mentioned above it on this list if executed properly. The reaction triggers when Pyro is applied to Cryo or vice-versa, but it doesn't do anything by itself.

Combining different elements in combat is the key to success in Genshin Impact. Creates a crystal that will provide a shield when picked up. Deals extra elemental damage and spreads the effect.

The reactions are as follows: Frozen (Cryo + Hydro): Frozen beings are rendered immobile, but also become rock-hard. Vaporize (Pyro + Hydro): The Pyro or Hydro attack that triggers Vaporize deals increased DMG. Electro-Charged (Electro + Hydro): Electro-Charged continuously deals Electro DMG until it wears off.

When Anemo comes into contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro, the Swirl reaction will be triggered. This reaction will cause the element in contact with Anemo to affect a larger area, and can even trigger other reactions... Use Hydro, Pyro, Cryo and Electro attacks in battle to infuse opponents with the elements.

Keeping this information in mind, you can say Anemo is weak to every other element except Dendro and Geo (sorry Beth). I'm not saying use this element against this, or use whatever against that. I'm just saying maybe this'll make things easier next time you fight a slime or hypostasis.

When Electro is applied on a Quickened enemy, Aggravate occurs. The added damage will be 1.15x the character's Level Multiplier (an invisible number that scales with level).

Wet itself does not have any special effects; it is simply considered the application of Hydro. However, being affected by Wet allows Hydro Elemental Reactions to occur. Any source of Hydro DMG will apply Wet. It will also be applied during rain and upon coming in contact with bodies of water.

Both Anemo DMG and elemental DMG caused by an Anemo ability, which has absorbed an element, are able to crit. It's the Swirl reaction which cannot crit (just like all other transformative reactions). Swirl, Overloaded, Shatter (from freeze), and Electro-Charged all cannot crit.

Geo has Elemental Reactions with the elements Electro, Pyro, Hydro and Cryo. In all cases the reaction is Crystallize. Crystallize: Creates a shard of the involved element. Picking it up creates a shield of that element around the character.

Cryo is not the core of dendro reactions, cause those elements don't interact directly. But reactions are more complex than that and cryo is often great addition, or the opposite - dendro is helpful to melt damage dealer.

What reacts with Dendro? ›

Dendro reacts with Pyro, Electro, and Hydro in the following ways: Quicken (Dendro + Electro): When Quickened, Electro attacks activate “Aggravate” and do more damage. Further Dendro attacks to a Quickened enemy activate “Spread,” which increases Dendro damage to the enemy.

Quicken is a combination of Electro and Dendro inflicted onto an enemy. While the Quicken Aura remains on an enemy, players can add another dose of either Electro or Dendro.

Hyperbloom is a reaction caused by Electro application to a Dendro core. Hyperbloom based team compositions include Dendro, Hydro, and Electro characters, often with an Anemo or flex fourth slot. Hyperbloom creates an explosion with a small AoE, which can sometimes damage the player if close.

Anemo– comes from Greek ánemos, meaning “wind.” You may recognize this root in the name of the plant anemone, which literally translates to “daughter of the wind.” The Latin translation of ánemos is ventus, also meaning “wind,” which is the source of terms such as vent and ventilation.

1 Hydro Is The Best Element In Genshin Impact

While it was once one of the weaker elements, Hydro is now Genshin Impact's best element.

Ula's Elemental Burst, Glacial Illumination, is the most powerful single attack in Genshin Impact. It can reach over 5,000% physical damage if you can acquire full stacks.

Overload team has the best clear times because of double swirl. Aggravate one is totally functional and more than enough to 36* abyss, although there are better teammates for Nahida and Shinobu gameplay-wise.
