Record of fastest double hundreds (200) in one day internationals (ODIs) cricket is held by Indian wicket keeper batsman Ishan Kishan, he scores double century in only 126-balls against Bangladesh at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram on Saturday December 2022. He breaks records of West Indies' opener Chris Gayle, he scores double century in only 138-deliveries against Zimbabwe at Manuka Oval, Canberra on Tuesday February 24, 2015. Gayle has also become the first batsman ever to score a double century in a world cup match.
The first double century was scored on 24th February, 2010 by Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar against the strong South African side at Gwalior.
