Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play a game of FUT friendlies and get a player sent off, the red card will stay on the player even after the friendly game mode ends, and if you put the player in your reserves and play another friendly game, the red card will still be on the player after however many games you play.
What happens when the bug occurs? When getting a player sent off in FUT friendlies, I only tried it on the Live friendlies challenges, the red card stays on the player after the game ends, and even putting the player on the reserves and playing another friendlies game, the red card does not leave.
What should be happening instead? The red card received in the friendlies game should not stay with the player after the game ends due to friendlies supposedly having no effect on your club.
