Some are a lot cheaper to attend than the Bell Centre. The drawback is that you're not at a Habs game.

If you’re planning to catch a Toronto Maple Leafs game in their hometown and want to have a hot dog, a drink and parking at Scotiabank Arena, it’ll cost around $240 per person. That’s the most expensive arena to catch a game in Canada, according to an analysis byonline gambling site time2play.com. They analyzed the cost of a ticket, beer, hot dog and parking during the 2021-22 season. If you’re a one-beer-per-period kind of person, add that on, and don’t forget to tip.

The second-most expensive Canadian arena is the Bell Centre, home of the Montreal Canadiens, at $196.79. Looking at all NHL arenas, the Bell Centre is the seventh-most expensive.

NHL-wide, the most expensive full-hockey experience is at a New York Rangers game, at $247.99 Canadian per person.

If you decide to go without food and drink, the most expensive NHL ticket is for a Seattle Kraken game, at $172.58. They also boast the most expensive hot dog, at a whopping $10.53.

All right, that’s a lot. You can save a ton by visiting the cheapest arena in the NHL, if you happen to be in Arizona for a Coyotes game ($115.83).

The least expensive Canadian home game comes courtesy of the Ottawa Senators, at $123.13. It’ll cost around $50 round trip for gas from Montreal to Ottawa, a little more to take the bus or train. Still cheaper than a Habs game, with the only drawback being that you’re not at a Habs game.
