Tip: Change the undertone of your foundation by using eyeshadows to custom match your skin tone.
Foundations come in four different undertones:
- Warm
- Cool
- Neutral
- Olive
You will need the following products:
- Neutral Foundation
- Orange Eyeshadow: (Chickadee)
- Green Eyeshadow (Olive You)
- Pink Eyeshadow (Pinky Promise)
Warmer Tone:
If your foundations are too pink on you, you need to add orange to it to make it warmer. Add a small amount of your foundation on the back of your hand. Scrape a bit of your orange eyeshadow (Marlena uses Chickadee) with a clean, dry spatula. Mix the foundation and orange eyeshadow together to create a warmer tone foundation which has more of a yellow undertone.
Cooler Tone:
If your foundations are too yellow on you, you need to add pink to make it cooler. Add a small amountof your foundation on the back of your hand. Scrape a bit of your pink eyeshadow (Marlena uses Olive You) with a clean, dry spatula. mix the foundation andpink eyeshadow together to create a cool tone foundation which has more of a pink undertone.
OliveTone:
If your foundations are too pink and too yellow, you need to add green to make it an olive shade. Add a small amountof your foundation on the back of your hand. Scrape a bit of yourgreeneyeshadow (Marlena uses Olive You) with a clean, dry spatula. mix the foundation andgreen eyeshadow together to create an olive tone foundation which has more of a green undertone.
