Absolutely the worst moving experience ever. Started bad inCosta Rica with Transtica and just kept getting worse.
MINUS 5STARS.
Do not use TRANSTICA ofCosta Rica, JDBROKERS ofMiami, orSEABOARD MARINE shipping service. Throw your belongings away and buy new ones.Yes, it's thatbad.Why? Well first ofall they have terrible office people who use email asif itwere achat service, and respond torandom emails within the chain. Looking atyou Hellen! Then when their boss figures itout, he
goes and lights afire under someone and then goes back toplaying FreeCell orwhatever, because unless you complain LOUDLY nothing gets done. Here's one for you Luigi! And from the beginning they wouldn't give mea straightforward and honest quote, and wouldn't doANYTHING until Ihad deposited the full amount (around $2000over what they were estimatingBTW, and myhouse was open for them tocount/weigh whatever they wanted), you'd think that would bebad. But wait, there's more! Once they had mymoney they started harassing mefor loads ofpaperwork that noone could explain until I“did itwrong” (Wendy sent mea form Ihad already filled inand told meI had toto itagain, soIdid…on the form she sent). Then they ran mearound and hurried meup soI had tosend the paperwork express mail toMiami.So…is thatbad? Well letssee…Today isthe 22nd ofAugust, and they said itwould beto me“by about the 11th”.So…10days lost, Ihad tostay ina hotel because myhouse isn't ready and they would not transparently tell mewhen the cargo would arrive. When Icalled Orlando Vasquez inMiami hesaid, “oh noworries! Ifthe date isn't good for you wewill work with you tochange it”. Yeah, SONOT TRUE. Orlando ignored anemail from mesaying that ifthey could guarantee the drop off itwas fine, but ifnot Ihad tochangeit. And it's not here.Now, aside from mybad experience inhiring this company atall…I had tochange the address ofthe storage unit toone, quite literally, down the street. Soon top ofeverything they're charging me$200more, inaddition tothe nearly $7,000this has already costme, tochange anaddress ona form. Finally, because Idid not pay their damn fee within two hours they started harassing with emails and threatening tocharge me$150aday tostore the container that had already been delivered. Looking atyou, YANEL ofSEABOARD. Seriously, Iam not alitigious person, but Iam planning onsuing these companies. THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND PROMISE THE MOON AND STARS WHILE DOING NOTHING. DONOT FALL INTO THEIR TRAP! STAY AWAY FROM THESE COMPANIES!!!… – show00
