Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is officially the oldest player in the league following the retirement of Miami Heat legend Udonis Haslem back in July. The King is entering his 21st NBA season and he had the perfect reaction when asked about the milestone.
James, 38, pressed both hands up against his face and let out a shriek before showing off an athletic dunk. The four-time NBA champion is clearly not going to have the typical season for a player entering year 21.
The best year 21 in league history is by Vince Carter at seven points per game, while James is coming off averaging 30 ppg last season, so expect something similar at age 38.
James' reaction to being the oldest player in the league was shared by the official X (Twitter) account of the NBA.
He reposted the clip to his social media along with some emojis of the exact reaction from the video.

James had thoughts of retirement at the end of last season. It was the first time in his career he felt that way.
He confirmed his return shortly after and recently stated how coaching his sons during the offseason made him love the game again.
Lakers have maintained most of the same roster that lost to the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference final, while making a few key additions such as center Christian Wood.
James & Co. are among the early favorites to go the distance and their season opener will be at Denver on Tuesday, October 24.
