Lebron James famously owned a minority stake in Liverpool for more than decade.
The NBA legend purchased a two per cent stake in Liverpool for around £4.7m in 2011 not long after FSG took complete control of the club.
Over the years since, James could be seeing sporting Liverpool clothing and was spotted at the 2022 Champions League final, which the club lost to Real Madrid in Paris.

However, what many may not know is that James recently relinquished his shares in Liverpool.
In March this year, he exchanged his shares for a stake in FSG, along with his business partner Maverick Carter and Paul Wachter. It’s thought that James owns about one per cent of FSG now.
The increase in value, The Mirror have estimated, is around £35m, with James getting plenty of worth from his investment.
James, who has been playing with the LA Lakers since 2018, is said to have a personal worth of around £847m ($1bn).
FSG have recently stated that they are open to listening to offers for the club for the first time since buying Liverpool in 2010, but have reassured fans and Jürgen Klopp that the team won’t be affected by any potential takeover and they aren’t in any rush to do so.
