This guy’s giving his extra digits a hand — because they’ve turned him into a celebrity.
Devendra Suthar calls his 14 fingers and 14 toes, which got him into the Guinness Book of World Records for the most appendages in the world, a blessing.
“Because of my extra fingers, people here treat me as a celebrity,” he told Caters News Agency.
The 43-year-old carpenter said he loves showing off his polydactylism, a condition he was born with that causes additional phalanges, to people who come to visit him in western India.
“Children laugh when they see me doing funny tricks with my fingers,” he said. “The expression on their face when they see my toes is priceless.”
He said he has no interest in getting rid of his extra fingers and toes, which he calls “lucky.”
