NBA Greats: Michael Jordan's Still-Standing Records (2)It is early 2011 and the NBA season is in full effect. And yet as many B/R observers notice, people still cannot get their minds off of Michael Jordan, or trying to compare players to him. Some fans seem angry about it but they should not be; MJ was a total beast throughout!

Yes, there are the easy things to rememberabout Jordan, such as the six titles and six Finals MVP's, but in this story some of Jordan's records which still stand to this very day attest to his greatness on the court.

One record that still stand today is when Jordan and the Bulls played Miami in 1992. He broke two records in one half of that game. He made 20 free throws in a half, which is a record, and he took 23, which is also still a record.

Scoring was obviously Jordan's stand-out skill (as was defense) and he still holds the all-time record for leading the NBA in total points scored 11 times! Additionally, it is also an all-time record that Jordan led the NBA in scoring 10 times.

Also, an all-time record is Michael's career regular season scoring average of 30.12 points per game. He also holds the all-time playoff points per game record with 33.5!
