The wrist shot in hockey is one of the more beautiful things in the game. It is not easy for a player to put as much power on it, let alone the world-class precision that is required to beat an NHL goalie.
In the league's All-Star Game, they have a contest to see who has the hardest slap shot. One contest I'm sure many fans would like to see is the hardest and most accurate wrist shot.
These five NHL players have the best wrist shots.
5. Rick Nash

The question remains to be seen where Nash will take these wrist shots in the future, but whoever gets his services will have one of the most lethal shots in the league.
4. Evgeni Malkin

What can Evgeni Malkin not do? He is an amazing talent who can dangle, pass and shoot a mean wrister. In terms of a better shot, he might even be better than that Crosby guy.
3. Daniel Sedin

It really helps when your identical twin is passing to you, but give credit to Daniel Sedin for having an awesome shot. He won the 2011 Accuracy Shooting competition, and in the actual game, he can fire it from anywhere.

Steven Stamkos is the best player in the league at putting the puck in the net. He just amassed 40 goals and he isn't slowing down anytime soon. He doesn't always use a wrister, but when he does, it usually goes in.

He might be in a down season, but that doesn't keep him from putting up highlight-reel goals every now and then. Ovechkin has a harder wrist shot than some players' slap shot.
