The NAFL began play in 2022 with 4 teams, and played with 6 teams in 2023. Season three will be played over the course of three weeks, with 3 teams hosting the other teams for round-robin play in their home venue. Each team will play 3 to 4 games per week, and games are scheduled to be played in Fort Worth, TX, Chicago, IL, and Duluth, MN. The teams will each play 10 regular season games, and the top four teams will advance to the playoffs, which will be held on the final Saturday and Sunday of the season. Opening day will be July 10th, 2024, and the final game Season Showdown will be played on July 28th.
The regular season will be played during the month of July 2024. The league is played using the rules promulgated by the International Floorball Federation (IFF). All games will consist of three 20-minute periods with clock stoppage on every whistle. Games cannot end in a tie. A 15 second shot clock has been implemented for penalty shots.
