Good Series, Not Really For Kids

While the series has the positive message of sticking with your friends and Ichigo isn't the worst character for your kids to emulate there is a lot of violence and said violence gets darker as the series progresses. The language is also pretty bad if you're watching the English dub. You've also got the issue of the main character being able to see ghosts as well as it honestly being of the horror genre. The style can be scary for some of the younger kids and the characters get hurt big time.Older kids are likely though to be able to handle the series and they may very well find themselves relating to Ichigo, particularly due to the fact so many kids have to deal with being bullied and Ichigo constantly has to deal with not being normal in the series. He finds himself choosing not to care about people making snipes at who he is and instead chooses to be who he is no matter what, not to mention he has a very strong moral compass that is willing the challenge what he sees to be social injustices.

This title has:

Too much violence

Too much sex

Too much swearing
