Naruto Shippuden is recommended for all ages
If you're at home just munching on some snacks and can only watch a bunch of random TY commercials then let me introduce you to an anime that you will never forget, Naruto ShippudenWatching this Anime will keep your eyes glued to the screen, there will never be a day that you will take those eyes off the TV. The transitions and effects may look fresh from the naked eye. But oh no! There's more, if you put the transitions and effects in slow motion then you will soon realize that the Animator uses only 2 to 3 movements to make the animations pop up. These Animators are really smart and creative, it'll probably blow your mind. Next up is the Soundtrack, so if you're still that lazy bum that can only look at the animations of Naruto Shippuden. Let me introduce the second most important, soundtrack is important because without the soundtrack the Anime would not be too exciting. The soundtrack is available on YouTube and Spotify for you to listen to, feel free to enjoy the festive music! Last but not least ladies and gentlemen, the grand finale… The story plot! The story of Naruto Shippuden is a fantasy world of ninjas that can release elemental attacks called Justus. The complex story might be hard to understand if you just try to memorize all episodes over 100, just keep watching and you will soon know the story easily. Now that you have enjoyed a good anime, now you will never need to worry about getting bored!

It was a good and very fun show though I’m rating this 10+ because there was a little too much violence for kids below 10.

Pretty violent
Lots of squelchy stabbing sounds coming from the TV tonight as my son is a dozen or so episodes into the show. They're pretty loud. Just thought parents would want to know. I'm glad my son has found a cartoon he likes, but the scene I just saw was of a guy stabbing another guy with a knife he's holding in his mouth. Blood coming out of the other guy's mouth. Then the first guy gets stabbed a bunch by others. Pretty tense, pretty violent.

Pretty good
not the best anime but definitely one to start with there is barely any violence and children should know that any stereotypes and swearing aren't good

Depends on the kid - if they can handle it, it's an A+ show
I think a good age range for naruto, would be between 10-12 yrs old before a kiddo starts watching it. as an adult who recently started the series, and is a anime fan in general; I was surprised that the show was on Nickelodeon as a kid growing up. Just because of the fact that I would have been terrified at 10 years old watching this, but I got scared really easy watching movies. If your kid scares easy I don't recommend this, there are some battle scenes that are a little bit more gory for children. It really is a case by case basis so, but I think by 12 most kids should be able to handle it. It has some really great messages, about how to treat people right. Which I think would be really great for some kids. They focus a lot on loyalty, honoring your family ,& being a trustworthy person in general. I'm only season 5 on Netflix but thus far it's phenomenal. Would be a a great way to teach kids how to treat others.

A great show - believe it!
One of the great anime shows of all time, Naruto rides the cusp of juvenile fun and young-adult themes as well as any shonen. It is very violent (perhaps not as violent as DBZ) but there is quite a lot of blood and children are frequently injured and/or hospitalized. On-screen death does happen but is generally from supernatural means and not brutality.Racey material is infrequent and always used as a seduction joke rather than anything genuine. Naruto performs a "jutsu" which transforms him into a naked woman covered only by thin strands of mist. None of the children are ever sexualized (although Jiraiya tells Naruto he has a "tight, sexy body" one time which was odd).Language is infrequent and usually boils down to just "damn" or "hell." As I can recall, there was at least one instance of "b*tch."Money is rarely talked about at all. There is a character that is always shown smoking a cigarette but its not overt. Some adult characters are shown drunk/drinking but is very rare.Like DBZ, the violence and fighting in Naruto is used as something the hero must overcome, and always does in the end, which is what makes it a great show about perseverance and believing in oneself. There are frequent flashbacks that highlight struggles individual characters endured, and creates great depth for the shows plot-lines. Episode variation is all over the place - one episode could be dumb, immature goofiness - the next could be demon possession and martyrdom. But for parents worried about depictions of violence, these are equally beset by the positive messages of defeating evil.
