Once a digital proof is made, we will send you the proof and quote via email. Feel free to respond with any design changes you'd like to see. Once you approve your design and a payment is made, patch production begins. Your design is digitized and sent to our die cutting machine. A roll of stabilizer material, such as twill, is used as the base. Twills have a diagonal weave that produces a heavy hold and doesn't fray. Next, our machines begin sewing the design onto the twill, one color at a time. Meaning the machine will sew one color thread, and once finished, the machine starts over and starts sewing the next color. For 100% embroidered patches, the colors are added until the whole twill is covered and no mesh is shown. Finally, a patch edge is added to keep the edges from fraying. A merrow border is either sewn around the entire edge of your patch and wraps around the back. If you choose a hot cut border, a heated gun/scissors cuts out the patches from the roll.
