“Why yes, I have mastered the Peppergun's alt fire. How could you tell?”
―Dogustune, 10/30/2019
The Peppergun, also known as the Pepperbox revolver. It is a type of weapon used in the 1820s-40s, until the introduction of the more modern revolver design by Samuel Colt.
There are many variants of the Pepperbox in real life, but the in-game model is either based on the Lefaucheux or the Victor Collete Pepperbox.

In-Game Information
Similar in the gameplay to the Peacemaker with its 6 shots, fan-fire ability, and gate-loading, the Peppergun seems to be a much more body shot oriented revolver. The Peppergun is also one of the most common revolvers in the game.
Unlike the Peacemaker, the Peppergun cannot instantly kill with a headshot. However, the its fall-off allows it to deal more damage in closer ranges to the point where it can one-shot enemies if a player gets close enough. It is a guaranteed two-shot kill otherwise.
Thanks to its gate-loading nature, the Peppergun shares a slow reload time with the Peacemaker, although it gives players the benefit of being able to reload as they fire. Right-clicking allows players to fan-fire, allowing the Peppergun to shoot in a pseudo fast way that surpasses the speed of its cousin, the Peacemaker. However this is quite dangerous, even more than it's counterpart, as it increases the Peppergun's spread quite significantly, and rapidly dispenses all 6 rounds from every barrel quickly. This can kill at closer ranges before opponents have time to react.

Trivia
- Player characters in-game do not actually make any motions with their hand to co*ck the hammer after every shot, only raising it upwards and somehow managing to re-co*ck it.
- Due to control differences, mobile users could not fan-fire the gun before May 16, 2020.
- The audio of the Peppergun is commonly used in other ROBLOX games that feature guns.
