That makes sense. Seems W is a slightly smaller shaft size, which in this case is paired with an Intermediate 65 flex rating.

I’ll have to try measuring the two and see what the difference is in circumference. It must be subtle - nothing like the Intermediate shaft on the Alpha QX Pro for example - that feels a lot smaller than a standard Sr shaft - closer to a Junior shaft.

    colins

I took some shaft circumference measurements, and it confirms the 'T' vs 'W' code as per the above chart. Thanks again for the info.

'T' shaft Supertacks 2.0 Pro Stock: 9.2 cm

    Bauer 2015 1N Retail: 9.2 cm

'W' shaft Supertacks 2.0 Pro Stock: 9.0 cm

Alpha QX Pro Intermediate: 8.75 cm

P90 is a prostock CCM equivalent to Bauer P92. Pretty much identical. Same lie.

P29 retail is a CCM pattern similar to Bauer P92, but has been described more like a mashup of the P88 and P92. P88 is lie 5, P92 is 6, P29 is about 5.5 in comparison, slight more open than a P88 but slightly more closed on the toe than a P92.

P19 is not a P92 clone. It's not nearly as deep. It's got an open toe similar to P92, but much less depth in the pocket of the curve, by about 7mm (12mm P19 vs. 19mm P92).

                  1NSE (1N/college model?)

Any insight or anything I should know? I think the SE is the more durable European/College stick, right?

Correct, it's a 1N with thicker sidewalls for added durability, usually for college/junior teams. It'll be a little heavier, and possibly play a touch stiffer than a retail 1N.

Hi guys I was wondering if anybody could shed some light on my stick. I managed to win a Patrik Laine custom bauer vapor 1x lite but it has no codes on the shaft of the stick and on the blade it does not have his name stamped in to it, instead it has somebody else's.

Check the butt end? Usually there’s a sticker inside the top with a shaft code, though if Laine cuts his sticks down it might have gotten cut off.

Curious, what name is imprinted on the blade?

                        Custom everything.

This stick is extended, not a wooden extension, it looks like the rest of the stick so manufactured that way but I checked last night and no sticker. On the blade it has AHONEN-TOMMI-H22-B19-R. I can't add a pic at the moment as it's too big of a file

                            http://www.sports2k....ik-laine-curve/

I started a thread a year and a guy had a stick that said Test-A on it.

As a hockey equipment enthusiast with extensive knowledge in the field, I can provide valuable insights into the information shared in the discussion. The conversation primarily revolves around hockey stick shaft sizes, flex ratings, and blade patterns, with a focus on various codes and specifications related to pro stock hockey gear.

Colins, the original poster, initiated the discussion by noting the differences in shaft sizes denoted by 'T' and 'W' codes, particularly in the context of the Intermediate 65 flex rating. Subsequently, there's a mention of shaft circumference measurements, confirming the correlation between the 'T' vs 'W' code and the actual sizes of the Supertacks 2.0 Pro Stock shafts.

The discussion then shifts to blade patterns, specifically Bauer curves, where users like Buzz_LightBeer and Colins provide a list of patterns and their corresponding codes. This includes details on various patterns like P92, P88, and P90, along with insights into their characteristics and similarities.

Other users, such as Fooj, tcraig1226, and Kimo91, contribute to the conversation by providing additional information on specific patterns, their clones, and variations. For instance, P90 is identified as a prostock CCM equivalent to Bauer P92, and P29 retail is described as a CCM pattern similar to Bauer P92 but with characteristics of both P88 and P92.

The discussion expands to include codes like P15/H15, P6, and H11a, with users like Joron and Fooj sharing their knowledge on these patterns, their characteristics, and their relationship to other well-known patterns like Drury/P91a.

Towards the end of the discussion, there are queries about specific codes on sticks, such as T2R and the identification of a Bauer Vapor 1X Lite stick with unique markings. Members like Zooz seek information on stick codes, and tcraig1226 provides insights into the meaning of codes like P92-L, 87 flex, and 1NSE in a Bauer 1N stick.

In conclusion, this conversation is a rich exchange of information among hockey equipment enthusiasts, covering topics such as stick shaft sizes, flex ratings, blade patterns, and specific codes related to pro stock hockey gear. The participants demonstrate a deep understanding of the nuances of hockey equipment, contributing to a comprehensive and informative discussion.
