The Tigers new team plane is the Red Bird III, replacing its current plane Red Bird II. This new bird will allow for non-stop flights to the west coast, additional seats and more cargo space for equipment. The plane is shared between the Tigers and Red Wings. Red Bird III could be used as early as the end of the regular season for the Tigers.
