VanCamp chats about Emily's vulnerable side, the men in her life and flashbacks.
Emily VanCamp has admitted that her Revenge character Emily has some "sociopathic" qualities.
Speaking to Digital Spy at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival, VanCamp explained that she loves the way the show's characters have "so many different levels".
"Yes, she's a sociopath," she said. "At the same time, she can be vulnerable and is this hurt little girl."
VanCamp also spoke about the relationship between Emily and Daniel, suggesting: "They're both kind of stuck in this box Victoria has created for them. There are definitely real feelings there."
She added that Jack is the "one true sort of connection" to Emily's past as Amanda, describing their relationship as "beautiful" and "powerful".
Speaking about Nolan, she explained that Emily can trust him "even though he does things over and over again that kind of prove to be otherwise".
"They just have this connection," she said. "They really enjoy each other. He's kind of like a brother to her."
Revenge airs Mondays at 9pm on E4.
