In hockey you are wearing skates that can cut you very badly especially on your under arm or wrist. Getting cut by a skate definitely wouldn't feel good because you could lose a lot of blood and need to get stitches. Another piece of equipment is the hockey stick which can be used as a weapon. It's scary and dangerous because someone could hit someone else with a stick. On all pieces of hockey equipment it protects the front of your body the most like your chest and shins. If someone takes a shot, you will always want to turn away from the shot but turning away may actually cause you to get hurt more.
