The data was then broken down to reflect the number of “hate tweets” per state targeting a particular team. Dallas comfortably collected the most states, with eight — a majority in the Northeast, where the team’s division rivals are located.

The defending Super Bowl-champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, led by legendary quarterback Tom Brady, tied for second most hated team with the Green Bay Packers, each earning six states.
