Great service from the company. We had an arborist come out first to evaluate the property and then had Timber Works come out and evaluate and both had the same recommendations. Timber Works actually identified a cluster of trees that didn't outwardly look like it had any issues, but was very clearly rotted on the inside once it was taken down.The work crew showed up on time with all of the equipment and personnel necessary to take down the identified trees. Everyone was extremely conscientious of making sure that no property was damaged during their operations.Very communicative from the first step through scheduling and then the actual tree removal. Followed up immediately with emails to make sure we were happy with the service. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality tree company. They ended up taking down 8 trees and doing some cabling on some existing trees to keep as much as the forest preserves as possible, so it was not a small job.

We recently had Timber works out to our home for a second time due to the great job they did for us the first time we needed some trees removed.The skills, experience, and professionalism of the crew was stellar. This 2nd trip, we had them remove a very old, extremely tall tree overhanging our shed. It was a very dangerous and tricky job as the shed is adjacent to a very deep crevasse. The equipment used, the crews coordination of the job, and seamlessness of the removal was amazing to witness. It was a display of their skills and experience. Timber Works has completed two jobs for us including large tree removal (declining White Pines 80 plus feet tall), Black Walnut pruning for health canopy (large 80 plus feet trees), brush/invasives clearing with a forestry muncher, and stump removal. Their pricing has been highly competitive, but their work ethic (showing up consistently on time), and work ethic (constantly moving, and cleaning as they go) has been unmatched in the half-a-dozon or so tree and landscape companies we have had work on our small farm is Leesburg, VA. From meeting with the owner of the company for an estimate, to conversations with the crew on site to do the work, every person was polite and professional, and very knowledgeable.The crew arrived on site promptly, and took care of the job. This was an excellent company to work with from start to finish. We bought a new house with a lot of trees and were able to get Mac out before we moved in to assess the trees and give us recommendations for pruning and removal. We got an estimate the same day and were able to schedule the same week. We had six trees removed and the rest of the trees pruned and thinned. The guys were efficient and left the property clean. On 10/10/2023, a Timber Works Tree Care team consisting of Benjamin Runion, Shawn Vance and Ryan Roquet arrived at my residence at 0730. They were challenged to cut and removed several massive trees that fell across my newly paved driveway blocking traffic to my home. From the start this team definitely displayed outstanding teamwork, proficiency at their professions and were always safety conscious. At no time did I see them waste time not even for well deserved breaks. I would definitely highly recommend this company for hire.

I’ve used Timber Works twice now. First time, they took down a large, dead tree that was too close to the house. They employed state of the art robotics and had it down quickly and safely. Had enough confidence in them to call them back. Second job was taking out dead evergreens (thanks to the deer), tall, overgrown or dead trees threatening the fence and shed, and maintenance of other trees on the property. Again, the crew took care of everything and by noon were done. They took away the debris, leaving the property clean.I recommend Timber Works highly. I am a happy, happy customer! TimberWorks helped push the mountain woods back from my small home and sheds by taking down some sizable trees in decline and removing brush. In one area, they limbed a large tree, and cleared and ground stumps and old logs left from a previous cutting. In another area (pics), a firepit was sitting unused because it was simply overgrown by trees and branches ... the crew made sure the area was made cleaner, more open, and safer for use. Their work made my whole property look clean and feel airier. With such efficient, personable, and professional crew, I highly recommend the company to conservatively assess and address timber needs with competitive pricing. So pleased.

These men came out and did a fantastic job. They took down about 17 tall cedars and a couple black walnut trees. All were very tall. I was very impressed with how they took them down. Each tree was put down exactly where they wanted. Didn't touch any of the neighbors decks or any flower pots or anything else. The clean up was great. Not a leaf or limb left. This was totally a professional job. Would recommend them to anyone.

Timber Works did two jobs for us in the past week. The first was to clear out a stand of pines and a large invasive Russian Olive growth, and to also clear timber and create hiking and 4x4 paths and a 1/4 acre camping area in our back 7 acres of woods. Using a SkidSteerer, it was all done in a day despite several fairly steep gradients. We have much more space, and the paths are wonderful, allowing us and our many grandchildren (and our resident wildlife) to roam throughout the difficult terrain.The 2nd job was to remove 5 large and dangerous dead trees, all of which were leaning into a meadow where we plan to build a treehouse and install a zipline. They felled the trees expertly and safely in one afternoon. All of the workers were easy to communicate with and very respectful of our goals, which they all met.The owner of the company made the estimate himself and appreciated all of my concerns and plans. The office staff were courteous and communicated times well in advance, as well as reminders both the day before the work and an hour prior to arrival. All equipment was moved around with knowledge of underground water, waste, and propane lines to prevent breakage and, except for the desired outcomes, without any trace of their having been there.I’d recommend Tree Works to anyone and am quite happy with every step of their process.

When was the last time a company showed up an hour early to get to work?? Well, today the Timber Works crew showed up early with 4 trucks, a wood chipper, a tractor and 7 guys ready to work! They cleared 20-30 downed trees, 5 massive piles of branches from our winter ice storm on High Knob Mountain and also took down a 50ft dead tree next to my new home. They did a fantastic job and we even negotiated a little extra work to knock down 4 other dead trees and turn them into wood chips! This is a 1st class company and I look forward to bringing them back in the fall to fell the last 125ft tall dead Ash tree in the back yard. Thank You to Ben and his crew for a fantastic job!

The job was to remove 8 large dead/dying trees (with 2 largest near house), forest mulch roughly an acre of fairly dense young trees, clear brush from near house and along ~500’ long driveway, etc. The Timber Works team was equipped with the equipment and skills needed to do the job both safely and efficiently. Timber Works did a great job of removing a half dead Maple tree in our backyard. They worked quickly and efficiently, paying attention to safety. They even cleared up the leaves that were there before they got to us. I would definitely recommend them!

They were very professional, safety conscious and used modern, well-maintained equipment which allowed the safe removal of these large, tall trees which were close to my house and my neighbor's house. All debris was chipped and hauled away and cleanup of the area was great. I couldn't be more satisfied with their work.

My own observations were utter astonishment at the speed, efficiency, and care with which Ben and his crew did the work. I spoke with Ben several times. He made sure that I was getting what was agreed upon and that I understood what was going on, as it was happening. He and the other fellows even impressed the neighbors! The noise is a drawback, but nothing could be done about that, given the machinery necessary to get the job done.All in all, great job, Timber Works!!!

Our HOA (Frederick Woods) used TimberWorks to cut and remove 7 sizable trees. They also ground the stumps. In addition, we had them clear both sides of a drainage swale for several hundred feet. It was thick with mature brush. We then these guys show up it's a tree removal army. They show up with all the equipment needed to do the job and plenty of manpower. It is obvious that safety is paramount with this group. Everyone onsite utilizes proper PPE. They have done work for me personally and quite frankly, I can't imagine using anyone else. THANKS FOR A JOB WELL DONE!

We needed a large oak removed that was in the middle of our driveway within 15 ft of our electrical box and about 30 ft from our house so our concern was safety. While Timberworks quote was slightly higher than the rest, George explained how the job would be done and what equipment would be used and did it in a professional manner. We made the right choice because it was clear that his team knew what they were doing and did a great job. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

The day before the work was to be done, I received a confirmation email from Joe, reminding me of the time they would arrive.The crew showed up on time and all were courteous and professional.. My husband and I were so impressed by the well orchestrated operation and communication between the crew.They worked hard for several hours, cleaning up as they went along. They used all safety precautions to ensure the process of cutting down the trees would not damage power lines, septic field and surrounding healthy trees.They did an amazing job for a fair price. These guys are rock stars. They showed up with the best equipment, a team of at least 6 or 7 guys, and did everything we asked them to do. Removed several trees, stump grinded 2 trees, and trimmed back a tree from the house. They wore safety equipment and did everything including clean up in just a few hours. I've never seen tree people be so high tech. They were communicating with headsets under their helmets. So great!

I can’t express enough the professionalism of the team at Timber Works Tree care. From the first day I met with Mac to go over the options, the professional advice, the emails with the office team and finally the team itself that arrived on time as stated to remove the three dead trees, four other trees; including ones for my neighbor. All of which were in a shared back yard with limited access.
The removal team was safety oriented, fast, had great communication with all my neighbors and did an amazing job. They took care to do as little damage as possible to my neighbor’s yard, cleaned up more that I expected and was done and out before we knew it.
I highly recommend calling them for you tree removal and other tree care needs. Their prices for 8 trees, that were 60’ in height, totaled less than another company’s quote for just two trees. Adding to this, all our emails and calls were answered through out the whole process in less than 48 hours.

We first had Timberworks out to consult and give us an estimate. I appreciated the time they took to assess the dying tree, check other trees on our property, and even the advice to first see if our power company would cut back the tree because of its proximity to their lines.We weren't quite ready to pay for the project, but Timberworks reached out a few months later just to check on us as they were doing work in our area. We were ready this time! After seeing the crew in action, I don't think we could have hired a better company.The crew arrived early with perfect equipment for our job site (somewhat narrow access) that looked as well taken care of as all their safety gear. Because my young children were enthralled by the machinery, we watched most of the project, and we got to see everyone working seamlessly and efficiently to carefully dissect the tree without damaging anything. It was an awesome example for my kids to see. They cleaned up the site beyond what I expected and left us a beautiful pile of wood chips for our garden. On the way out, one of the crew noticed a shrub stump I'd been working on removing on my own and offered to yank it out. He managed that in about 30 seconds! We've used Timber Works for help removing trees/limbs after storms for a few years now. They are always responsive and get here amazingly fast. We used Timber Works to remove a 35 foot Oak tree and grind the stump in our front yard. It was located next to utility lines and great care was taken to avoid any damage. The crew was extremely professional, efficient and did a great job cleaning up the yard and street at the conclusion of the job. Timber Works did an AMAZING Job!! They confirmed the day before, showed up on time, worked hard all day long, and were professional! I got three bids to remove an Oklahoma Redbud from my front yard. Timber Works was actually the lowest by far, which initially made me a little leery because the other two were fairly close. After meeting Jack, the owner, it sealed the deal. He told me the price up front, looked me in the eye and gave me a firm handshake. My wife said the crew wasted no time whatsoever, cleaned up very well and didn’t leave a trace. If I had more work for them, I wouldn’t hesitate, and neither should you. Very professional outfit, very easy to deal with, and I saved $500.

Timber Works trimmed/removed overgrown branches on three trees in my yard. It was obvious they know their business from the moment a representative came by to give an estimate on the work I needed. He recognized the importance of removing branches for a healthier tree rather than “topping off” as another less experienced company suggested. Their estimate was also significantly less than the other company. Work was performed exactly as promised and my yard was cleaned of all debris. I will definitely call on them again in the future.
