According to a Pure Hockey marketing representative, the Stauber family has stayed on as employees under the new ownership.

"The acquisition of DHC by Pure Hockey fulfills our goals and we are extremely excited to welcome them to Duluth," Jamie Stauber said in a social media post at the end of July. "We can't thank you enough for your friendship, support, loyalty and patronage over the past 31 years. It has truly been an honor and privilege to serve you and this incredible community.

Stauber said Pure Hockey's retail and customer experience aligns with the service customers had come to expect from Duluth Hockey Company.
