Republic Act No. 8794 - Anti-Overloading

Effective as of 11 February 2011, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in coordination with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Land Transportation Office (LTO), will commence its apprehension on trucks and trailers that will exceed the 13,500 kgs per axle limit.

However, the restrictions on both the allowable vehicle axle load of 13,500 kilograms and Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) which ranges from 16,880 kgs to 41,000 kgs, depending on the number and configuration of axles, will be strictly enforced by the above-mentioned authorities and/or deputized enforcers effective on 01 May 2011.

The Toll Roads are also following the same rules and regulations in accordance with the Law and being a Limited Access Facility.
