WeBull Review: How To Invest In Stocks (The Easy Way) (2024)

This is a post sponsored by WeBull. All opinions are my own.

Do you know how much can change in just 1 year? 1 year ago, I started investing and learning everything there is to know about retirement, investing, and trading stocks.

I’m not going to lie, it hasn’t been easy, but the more I learn, the easier (and more enjoyable) it gets!

Recently, I’ve been playing around with different investing apps and getting my hand in the game. I’ve always been intimidated by stocks, but I figured I have to start somewhere.

I started with Robinhood, and recently ventured out to WeBull, which lets new traders start trading stocks for free.

Today, we’re talking all about WeBull, a freestock trading app that makes it easy to invest in stocks all from your phone.

What is WeBull?

WeBull is a free commission tradingappwith many benefits and features that make it superior to similar trading apps.

WeBull is designed for intermediate and experienced traders, with many tools that beginner traders will enjoy as well.

It uses a commission-free structure that allows active and short-term traders to save a good chunk of money on commissions when compared to other online brokers.

There’s no minimum deposit to get started for regular trading. For margin trading, the minimum account balance must be $2,000+.

As an added bonuses, all new WeBull customers get free stocks.

If you’re ready to get started with WeBull, you can sign up for an account here. Once you deposit $100, you can get free stock worth up to $1,000.

What are the benefits of using WeBull?

  • 5,000 different stocks with commission-free trading
  • No deposit minimums
  • Free to open and maintain account
  • Full extended hours trading
  • In-depth analysis tools
  • Free access to Webull Desktop dashboard
  • Customer support 24/7

What I like about WeBull

For starters, WeBull is giving free access to things that other online brokers are charging for.

WeBull’s CEO Anthony Denier believes everyone should have an equal opportunity to control their financial future. Before, the only people that had access to this kind of trading platform was the ultra-wealthy or professionals.

Now, this platform is available for the everyday trader in the United States. The real-time market data platform, analysis tools, and zero commission trading are free for all users, allowing anyone to make smarter financial decisions.

You no longer have to make millions and millions of dollars just to get access to this kind of informational and trading platform. Pretty legit.

What I don’t like about WeBull

WeBullisn’t for the total beginner, but it does offer options that apps like Robinhood don’t have for the intermediateinvestor. I’ve been using Robinhood for a while and while I find that it’s been a great option, it is lacking some features that WeBull has.

WeBull is more hands on and lets you take advantage of different tools that aren’t usually accessible to the average person.

You can’t trade options with WeBull and Forex trading isn’t available, either.

Is my money safe?

WeBull is registered and regulated by the (SEC) Securities and Exchange Commission and the (FINRA) Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.

WeBull is also a member of the SIPC which protects securities customers of its members up to $500,000 (including $250,000 for claims for cash).

How is WeBull is different from Robinhood?

As many of you are reading this, you’re probably thinking that WeBull sounds quite similar to Robinhood, but there are a few key differences worth mentioning.

Robinhood is for the total beginner, which many of you might like, but as you get more into trading, you’ll find that Robinhood is lacking a lot of tools to make informed decisions.

WeBull offers a trading simulator (Robinhood doesn’t) which is also beneficial (even for beginners!).

WeBull’s trading simulator called Paper Trading in their app eases the stress that comes from trading as a beginner. With the trading simulator, you can use simulated money to play around with the trading platform, and get familiar with the design and tools of the app.

How can I get started with WeBull?

  1. Sign up for a WeBull account here.
  2. Download the app on iOS or Android.
  3. Go to menu > “My Free Stock” > Click “Get It Now” which starts your registration and open a brokerage account.

That’s it! Getting started is really easy. When you sign up here, you get the option of depositing at least $100 and getting a free stock worth up to $1,000.

WeBull has an account opening promotion which offers a free stock valued rom $2.5-300, see the weekly updates about the activities.

Final thoughts

Overall, I think WeBull is a great option for anyone who wants to take charge of their finances.

Their technical abilities let the average millennial start investing in stocks for little cost. You can get started trading just a small amount and learn as you go with WeBull, all from your cell phone.
