Being a quarter back in the NFL is no mean feat. The position is arguably the most intrinsic in the game with a quarter needing both a sharp mind and athletic ability to thrive in the role.
In fact, as the team's key playmaker, the quarter back translates a coach's offensive tactics onto the field of play by executing what the coach draws up on his playbook.
Some of the league's all time greatest quarterbacks include the likes of Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Joe Montana.

The record for longest NFL pass is currently owned by Baker Mayfield, who an astounding 70.5 yard hail mary against the Baltimore Ravens in 2020.
Unfortunately Mayfield missed his mark, meaning his efforts weren't rewarded with a touchdown.
Randall Cunningham is another contender, with the quarterback rumored to have hurled the ball 76 yards during the 1993 NFL Quarterback Challenge.
Similarly Patrick Mahomes can lay claim to having one of the strongest arms in the NFL with the current Kansas City Chiefs quarterback throwing the ball 80 yards during his Pro Day with Texas Tech.
