Is 30s considered middle age?
The American Psychological Association defines "middle adulthood" as beginning at 35 or 36, and many ranges do not end until 60 or 65. The Lancet considers midlife as starting from around age 40.
The stages of adulthood examined here include: Early Adulthood (ages 22--34). Early Middle Age (ages 35--44), Late Middle Age (ages 45--64), and Late Adulthood (ages 65 and older).
It's considered young. According to Erik Erikson you are a young adult until you turn 40, which is the start of middle age.

Is age 30 your prime?
To summarise: there is no age at which we are best at everything – or even most things. On average, you will reach your sexual peak in your 20s, your physical peak in your 30s, your mental peak in your 40s and 50s and at will be at your happiest and relaxed in your 60s.
As far as the female or male aging timeline, the biggest changes typically occur when people are in their 40s and 50s. However, it's not unlikely to notice changes in your mid to late-30s, as well. Some of the first signs of aging are droopy skin, smile lines, and wrinkles. These changes can be jarring, but natural.
Invisible Women Syndrome is a real phenomenon. Many women complain the moment they turned 50, people stopped seeing them. People push past them in queues, men look through them, and shop assistants ignore them. Research confirms that even data ignores women over 50, focusing instead on women of reproductive age.

Typically, the elderly has been defined as the chronological age of 65 or older. People from 65 to 74 years old are usually considered early elderly, while those over 75 years old are referred to as late elderly.

By many metrics, men in their 30s have a lot going for them and could be considered in their prime.
Some people consider 40 to be the birthday when you're suddenly "over the hill"—figuring the lifespan of the average human is about 80 and it's the mid-life mark. Others say it's the big 5-0, when you reach the half-century milestone.
Age does not a man make.
