What stick is better CCM or Bauer?
Best High Kick Point Stick: Bauer Supreme Ultrasonic
The winner for high kick point goes to the Bauer Supreme Ultrasonic. Honestly, the CCM Super Tacks AS4 Pro is an incredible stick. The main reason Bauer gets the advantage here is simply because it offers a slightly higher kick point than the AS4 Pro.
The Trigger 7 Pro has been built with a better balance point and weighs less than its predecessor, giving an enhanced feel and an ultra-quick release. Starting with the shaft makeup, The Ribcor Trigger 7 Pro is continuing to use high performing Nanolite Carbon Layering technology combined with sigmatex spread tow.

The movement was started by none other than Wayne Gretzky who signed an endorsement deal to use an HXP 5100 aluminum shafted stick made by Easton. The late 80's saw initial use of aluminum shafted sticks, but it was Wayne Gretzky who made them popular in the early 90's.
Connor McDavid Stick Spec Check
McDavid's custom curve is a variation on the popular P92 pattern, with a smaller, slightly squared blade face. He has been using the curve since he was a young, and for the most part has stuck with it throughout his pro career (with some brief experimentation here and there).

What is the newest CCM trigger stick?
CCM Ribcor Trigger 7 Senior Hockey Stick (2022)
Mid-curves are the most common. They're better for stick-handling than heel curves while retaining a decent sweet spot on both the forehand and backhand. Toe curves twist down as they bend, making them great for danglers who favor quick wrist shots.

Defensemen prefer a mid-curve or heel curve which provides greater control for handling the puck and improves accuracy for heavy shooting (slap shots and clear outs) Players who pass more than shoot often prefer a heel curve which enhances their ability to stick handle and make saucer passes (passing through the air)
TLDR; Entry level players will likely play better with a P92 curve, but could grow in skill-set by using the P28 for one stick-life. Advanced players can choose either based on preference on the ice. P92: Easy to aim high, and low shots are very easily managed by rolling the wrists to close the blade.
CCM Ribcore Trigger 4 Pro
The difference between the two is in the kick point. The Ribcore 4 Pro is designed for the forward that favors a low kick point with a very quick release, while the Jetspeed FT3 Pro is for the players that want more power with slightly slower release times.
CCM Hockey is currently owned by Canadian private equity firm Birch Hill Equity Partners, after the Adidas Group sold the brand for around $100 million in 2017. As of June 2021, the newly appointed CEO by Birch Hill Equity Partners is Marrouane Nabih.
The seller financing was necessary after traditional lenders were not comfortable lending to CCM in a leveraged buyout since the Weston, Ontario, company has been losing money, the source said. Reebok bought CCM, maker of hockey helmets and sticks, in 2004 for nearly $400 million, including debt.
Hockey player and goalie skates are often sharpened with a ROH from 3/8” up to 1-1/2”.
Ovechkin has been using the same CCM Ribcor Trigger since making the switch back to CCM from Bauer in 2017. The 37-year-old tested out the TOVI stick at the start of practice, dishing a couple of goals and stickhandling.
Defining hockey

He uses a Trigger 5 Pro with a custom heel curve. The blade itself is quite long and except for the slight wedge at the beginning, the curve is fairly straight. His sticks sit at a height of 60", but he adds an extension and spray paints the bottom for game-use.

Other superstar forwards like Patrick Kane, Pavel Datsyuk and Wayne Gretzky have also used mild curves throughout their careers... none of which had any trouble scoring.
In terms of kick point and shooting, the JetSpeed stick line is most similar to the Bauer Nexus stick family. However, players who liked Bauer's Vapor APX2 stick will absolutely love the CCM JetSpeed FT2 stick.
