What does GP mean in hockey standings?
You can determine if a team has played fewer or more games played (GP). You can track wins-losses-OT records, which means number of wins (W, one points), losses (L, no points) and OT (overtime losses, one point).
GF – Goals for – Number of goals the team has scored. GA – Goals against – Number of goals scored against the team. OTW - Overtime Win. SOW - Shoot Out Win. ROW - Regulation plus Overtime Wins, not including shootouts.
