There are two types of Toe Drags, forehand and backhand, both of which require the same motion to pull off. All you need to do is move your right stick in a down semi-circle motion. From your forehand, move in a semi-circle down and around; vice-versa for a backhanded drag.
When it actually comes to performing the deke, simply press L1+R3 (for PS) or LB+R3 (for Xbox) to get the puck between your player's legs. For the final part, flick the right stick to the direction where you want to send the puck.
NHL is a tough game with harsh moves and brutal takedowns. Players are huge and fast at snatching the puck as they skate across the ice. The players in the game won't miss their chance at taking the puck away and it only takes a few seconds to be outplayed in the sport.
Noun. toe drag (plural toe drags) (ice hockey) A deke in which a player uses the toe of their stick to drag the puck back towards themselves and out of a defender's reach.
