Back to the show: former DCC Maddie also made a surprise appearance to talk to the rookies about her journey to make it on the team. It wasn't easy; she was cut from training camp in her first year auditioning. As devastating as that was, she later understood that it wasn't her year to be on the team.

Maddy shared pretty early on in the series that she was basically made for cheerleading, revealing that she used to drive her family bonkers by always asking them to watch things that she'd do. Cheerleading seemed like a natural fit for her, so she started young and kept on going.

Holly resigned after she was confronted for having a relationship with a player. They told her she wasn't going to Canton and was on probation. She chose to leave. At first she denied everything until they showed her evidence.
[Retrospective] "I've decided to retire after four years because I feel like there's other places for me to give my talents and passions to. My journey as a DCC has been like a semi-truck on the side of a mountain, hanging onto the side. You're gonna get there, but it's gonna be a rough climb.
She has a complicated relationship with her dad.
Maddy revealed in the series that her dad didn't want her to go to school at Navarro, which is in Texas, while her family is based in Massachusetts.
She began her competitive cheerleading career with the Pro Spirit Dazzlers. At age seven she began competing with the Cheer Extreme Allstars in Kernersville and in Mount Airy, North Carolina; this was also the age that she was first coached by Courtney Smith-Pope.
Per Yahoo! Entertainment, La'Darius adopted two dogs and gave Kailee one to watch until the end of the semester. Kailee developed the impression that the dog was hers to keep, thus sparking an argument. In the end, La'Darius chose to leave Navarro.
As it stands now, NFL Cheerleaders including those with “America's Team” the Dallas Cowboys, are not allowed or a stronger term forbidden to "fraternize" with the players.
Kelli brings up her “explosion” in the locker room. Chelsea apologizes, saying she didn't explode, but saw her friends hurting and wanted to cheer them up and let them know it would be okay. She apologizes again if it came off wrong. Kelli tells her that is “B.S.” and she doesn't buy it.
She is currently a senior at UCLA, and has been a member of the UCLA dance team for the past two years, and is currently the captain.

We DO NOT have specific height and weight requirements. Are there any age requirements? You must be at least 18 by the time of preliminary auditions. There will be no exceptions.
On average, the cheerleaders earn about $150 per game. This comes out to about $22,500 per year. They also receive anywhere from $50 to $75 if they are featured for a public appearance. Therefore, the more you strut your stuff on camera, the more you get paid.

Growing up in Texas and through his adulthood, Laynce Nix was a football fan and while baseball was how he made his career, he never lost his love of the gridiron. He married Brooke Sorenson back in 2011, when she was a cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys.

3. Being a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader isn't considered a full-time job … but it should be. Most cheerleaders have full-time jobs in addition to their cheerleading responsibilities.
However, professional or very experienced cheerleaders have been reported to make as high as $75,000 per season. This salary includes extra bonus money from playoffs and Super Bowl performances.
Our squad ranged in age from 18 to 29, a few were still in college. The majority of the squad are career-women. DCC is a part-time job; the squad members have full-time jobs and/or attend college full-time.
Does jinelle still work for DCC?
She performs for the final time as a DCC at the NFL Draft. Although retired, she comes back as a staff member.
The daughter of a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, Victoria grew up in Coppell, Texas just a few miles from the DCC rehearsal studio. She took advantage of every opportunity to dance alongside the DCC, whether it was Junior DCC, DCC Dance Academy Camps, or Prep Classes.
She currently lives in South Korea in a military family. The DCC came to Korea for their U.S.O. tour, and they did a cheer clinic for her cheer team, and she was very inspired and loves everything they do.
Usually, they have to retire after 4 years, but the director reached out and asked if she could be dance trainer for the team. She did that, but decided that she missed performing.

While Maddy is still cheering for Navarro for the 2021-2022 season, she is also a member of the Wildcats, a Cheer Athletics All-Star Team in Texas.
The flyer is a new face to the squad in Cheer Season 2. Season 2 of Netflix's hit docuseries Cheer once again follows Navarro College's cheerleading team — this time as they compete against their biggest rivals, Trinity Valley Community College.
The nationally-ranked school has produced cheerleaders who went on to become successful celebrities like Gabi. Gabi Butler has moved on from Navarro College and now attends Weber State University.
