What does xGA mean in football?
Expected goals against (xGa) - The number of goals a team is expected to have conceded based on the quality and quantity of shots they have taken. Expected goals assisted (xA) – The number of assists a player is expected to have made based on the quality and quantity of the shots taken directly from their passes.
These stats will mean nothing if one doesn't know what a good stat is in this context. Typically, I judge xGF/60 as the following, bad<2.00-2.5<good, and the opposite is true for xGA/60. Anything between the 2.00 to 2.5 range is standard to pretty good.
Expected assists (xA)
It considers several factors including the type of pass, pass end-point and length of pass. Adding up a player or team's expected assists gives us an indication of how many assists a player of team should have had based on their build up and attacking play.
Expected goals explained
This value is based on several factors from before the shot was taken. xG is measured on a scale between zero and one, where zero represents a chance that is impossible to score and one represents a chance that a player would be expected to score every single time.”
XGA (Extended Graphics Array) is a high-resolution video display mode that provides screen pixel resolution of 1,024 by 768 in 256 colors or 640 by 480 in high (16-bit) color.
How is Expected Assists(xA) calculated? Expected Assists is calculated by relying on the quality of the chances created by the player rather than than the conversion rate. Hence, a player who may have a low number of assists throughout a season, can still have a high value of xA.
An accuracy of 90.5% sounds pretty good at first, but we need to bring this into the context of our data. The shot/goal data is a highly class-imbalanced data set, meaning that there is a significant disparity between the number of positive (goal) and negative labels (no goal).
An xG of 1 is the highest value a single shot can be, which implies that a player has a 100% chance of scoring. The higher the value of the xG, the more likely the player is to convert the opportunity. The use of npxG (Non-Penalty Expected Goals) is particularly useful as it provides a more accurate analysis.
Since xG was introduced in 2012 by Opta's Sam Green , the metric has gone on to become one of the most widespread and insightful within football analytics.

What does xG and xA mean?
While the xG value signifies the quality of a chance, the xA value signifies the quality of a pass. Simply put, the xA value puts a crucial emphasis on how likely a pass can be converted into an assist, regardless of whether that pass is actually converted into a shot and eventually a goal.

The XGA Resolution
XGA projectors generate an image that is 1024 pixels wide and 768 pixels tall. This resolution is equivalent to a first-generation iPad or to many standard-screen notebooks.
Nowadays, SVGA is often used to refer to the 800×600 display resolution, while XGA refers to the 1024×768 resolution. If you compute the number of pixels that are present in SVGA and XGA, you would find that XGA contains 60% more pixels compared to SVGA.
WXGA: Great for Videos, Movies, and Larger Venues
If you're looking for a projector with more resolution than XGA but don't want to break the bank, a WXGA projector may be the best option for you. This resolution, which stands for Wide XGA, offers 1280 x 800 pixels and a “movie theatre” aspect ratio of 16:9.
