Top Picks follow your preferences related to faith, ethnicity, marital status, smoking, drinking, marijuana, body type, education, and whether your match has kids or wants kids. They use a slightly broadened range for your age, height, and distance preferences.

Number of Views/Who's Viewed Me
Match keeps track of the number of people who have viewed your profile. When someone clicks on your profile, the number goes up. However, all the people clicking on your profile aren't necessarily listed when you look at 'who's viewed me' and each click may not be a unique user.
So top picks is a little pop up that comes up every once in a while when you are swiping right or left on the app. They will be with people that seem to be best associated with who you like and most likely will result in a match.
Choose a photo of you by yourself so your matches know who you are. The Tinder Top Picks algorithm favors profiles with photos of people alone, since it's easier to pick out who you are in your photo. If you do have some group photos of you and your friends, that's fine!
Blue Star on Tinder Top Picks - When you open the Top Picks screen, your eyes are immediately drawn to a group of blue stars. You can Super Like them from this list without even having to tap their profile - just tap the blue star to "Superlike" them.
What does a blue star next to someone's name mean? Well, it means someone Super Liked someone on Tinder. Either you Super Liked that person or that person Super Liked you. (Either way, the blue star will show.)
Gold Diamond
Every 24 hours the Tinder app will select a small group of profiles near you that are similar to other profiles you've liked in the past. If you click on a user profile you will see a Gold Diamond next to their name if they are one of your top picks for the day.

A free user has 1 super like per day, while Tinder Plus and Tinder Gold users have five. You can give someone a super like by swiping up (rather than left or right) on their profile. Users who are“Super-liked” by you will not be immediately notified.
