Who gets the shutout when two goalies play?
If two goaltenders combine for a shutout, neither receives credit for the shutout. Instead it is recorded as a Club shutout.
A shutout may be shared between two goaltenders, but will not be listed in either of their individual statistics. The record holder for most regular-season career shutouts in the National Hockey League (NHL) is Martin Brodeur with 125 (see the all-time regular season shutout leaders).
The 2019-20 NHL Official Rules say, in part, "In regular League and Playoff games, if both listed goalkeepers are incapacitated, that team shall be entitled to dress and play any available goalkeeper who is eligible."
Who gets the shutout when two goalies play? It's not uncommon that we see a goalie leave the game and be replaced by the backup goaltender, whether it be due to equipment issues or injuries, despite playing well and not allowing any goals.
(a) A goalkeeper may be changed for another goalkeeper or skater (who shall not have goalkeeper privileges) at any time during play provided the goalkeeper is at the bench and out of play prior to the substitute entering the ice. Each team shall be allowed one goalkeeper on the ice at one time. The rules do not explicitly disallow two goaltenders on the rink at one time. However, the rules do implicitly allow two goaltenders on the rink at one time, but this is in regard to line changes.

Players cannot play with broken sticks because they are dangerous. A player who has a broken stick in his hand could injure himself, a teammate or an opponent if he gets checked with the remnant in his hand.
