– The Ontario Hockey League today announced that 35 OHL players were selected in the seven rounds of the 2022 NHL Draft held at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

Since 1969, the OHL has had 2,475 players selected to the NHL = 1st in the world. This represents 20% of all players ever selected in the NHL Draft.

There are 31 picks in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft because the Miami Dolphins were stripped of their top selection for violations of league policies relating to the integrity of the game.

Miami had its own 2023 first-rounder, but on Aug. 2, 2022, the NFL announced the team would have to forfeit that selection, along with its 2024 fourth-round pick, after an investigation into the team revealed it had violated league policies “pertaining to the integrity of the game.”
