The North American Hockey League's annual draft is coming up on Wednesday, June 15, and plenty of players from Minnesota and North Dakota have already signed tenders with teams.

What is a tender?

A tender is a type of contract that players can sign that gives a team their exclusive rights. Each NAHL team can tender up to 10 players. Once a player signs a tender with a team, their rights are held exclusively by the team they signed with and they are no longer eligible for the NAHL draft. Teams tender players they feel strongly about and want to to add to their roster immediately the next season, instead of just hoping the draft odds work out in their favor and they are able to select the player.

Teams do not have to announce the players that they tender, but here is a list of players from The Rink Live's coverage area who have publicly signed tenders. This list will be updated as new tender information becomes available.
