Generation Ω (2024)

The omega generation of Pokémon games is a fan-created installment of the Pokémon video game series, created by Spindini ((who I affectionately refer to as Spinny) and myself ~Rotamaster Chaos), and starting with Pokémon Spin and Solve and continuing with Pokémon Lemyourinrin and Pokémon Chaos. This generation is not released on any platform yet. However, if it is to be released, it is most likely going to be released as a single game: Pokémon Generation Omega.

Rota[]

Main article: Rota

The Rota region was introduced in Pokémon Spin and Solve. The region is made up of nine cities, one which is a hub city, with the other eight having Gyms.

Starter Pokémon[]

The starters have the traditional types of Grass, Fire, and Water, with the Grass-type Swingtail, the Fire-type Embunny, and the Water-type Platypup. They are also now Level 8 rather than Level 5 and have their Hidden Abilities, those respectively being Scavenger, Reckless, and Poison Point.

Gym Leaders[]

Like most other regions, Rota has its own set of eight Gym Leaders who give out unique Badges and TMs after being defeated. Defeating all eight Gym Leaders grants access to the Pokémon League. There is also a secret Ninth Badge.

New Concepts and Features:

  1. Mutations: Pokémon can undergo mutations, enabling them to learn Egg Moves, acquire Hidden Abilities, or use moves they wouldn't typically learn.
  2. Elite Four in Double Battles: The Elite Four, including the Champions, are faced in Double Battles, introducing a strategic twist to these crucial battles.
  3. Primal Mew: A new form for Mew, known as Primal Mew, adds a fresh dimension to legendary Pokémon.
  4. New Statuses - Wet and Bleeding: The introduction of new status conditions, Wet and Bleeding, expands the range of tactical options in battles.
