California — Jared McCain, Centennial (Corona)

Duke signee is regarded as the No. 26 prospect in the Class of 2023 and is expected to be the catalyst for a Huskies team that begins the season ranked No. 2 in the nation. He averaged 16.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists as a junior.

Colorado — Baye Fall, Accelerated Prep (Lakewood)

Five-star Arkansas signee is expected to be the centerpiece for the first-year program. Fall was named MaxPreps Colorado Player of the Year as a sophom*ore at Lutheran before spending his junior year at Denver Prep Academy.

Connecticut — Badara Diakite, Northwest Catholic (West Hartford)

The 6-foot-10 forward is expected to have a monster sophom*ore season with the Lions after a run to the Division II state title game last season. Diakite is regarded as the No. 26 prospect in the Class of 2025.

Delaware — Dean Shepherd, Tower Hill (Wilmington)

Top 40 Michigan State pledge averaged 9.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 2.2 steals to earn MaxPreps Junior All-America honorable mention honors for nationally-ranked La Lumiere in Indiana before coming home to Joliet West.

Indiana — Xavier Booker, Cathedral (Indianapolis)

Top 10 Michigan State commit is expected to have a breakout season for nationally-ranked Cathedral this season. Booker averaged 12.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks as a junior.

Iowa — Omaha Biliew, Waukee

Iowa State signee is regarded as the No. 15 prospect in the Class of 2023. Biliew earned MaxPreps Junior All-America honorable mention after averaging 8.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.2 blocks at Link Academy (Branson, Mo.).

Kansas — Matas Buzelis, Sunrise Christian Academy (Bel Aire)

Highly-skilled Brewster Academy (Wolfesboro, N.H.) transfer is regarded as the No. 7 prospect in the senior classification. He is expected to be the catalyst for the No. 2-ranked team in the National Top 10.

Kentucky — Reed Sheppard, North Laurel (London)

Top 50 Kentucky signee has amassed over 2,900 points during his high school career. The 6-3 guard averaged 25.5 points, 7.6 assists, 6.8 rebounds and 4.4 steals last season.

Louisiana — Chris Lockett Jr., Newman (New Orleans)

Three-star guard helped lead Newman to its first state title since 1993 last season, earning Class 2A Player of the Year honors after averaging 13.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 2.0 steals as a junior.

Maine — William Davies, Thornton Academy (Saco)

Senior guard earned all-state honors last season after averaging 18 points, six rebounds and six assists to lead the Trojans to the Class AA state semifinals.

Maryland — Amani Hansberry, Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore)

Illinois commit is regarded as the No. 52 prospect in the Class of 2023. He was named Baltimore Sun All-Metro Player of the Year as a junior after averaging 20.3 points, 13.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists.

Massachusetts — Daithi Quinn, North Quincy

Named to the All-Scholastics Dream Team after averaging 23 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals for the Raiders last season.

Michigan — Curtis Williams, Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills)

Top 100 Louisville signee averaged 16.8 points and 7.7 rebounds in 2021-22. The 6-6 wing is expected to be the catalyst for the No. 41-ranked team in the Preseason MaxPreps Top 100.

Minnesota — Taison Chatman, Totino-Grace (Fridley)

Mississippi — Josh Hubbard, Madison-Ridgeland Academy (Madison)

Three-star Mississippi commit broke the Midsouth Association of Independent Schools career scoring record as a junior with 3,233 points headed into his senior year. Hubbard averaged 28.8 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals in 2021-22.

Second team MaxPreps Junior All-America selection averaged 23.3 points and 7.6 rebounds to lead McKinney (Texas) to the UIL Class 6A state title game. The Baylor commit is ranked No. 20 in the senior class.

Montana — Hayden Opitz, Capital (Helena)

University of Montana football pledge helped guide the Bruins to the Class AA state title last season, averaging 11.2 points and 6.7 rebounds to earn Class AA All-State honors.

Nebraska — Josiah Dotzler, Bellevue West (Bellevue)

Three-star Creighton-bound guard produced 15.7 points, 4.5 assists and 2.3 steals to guide the Thunderbirds to the Class A state title last season. Bellevue West begins the season ranked No. 46 in the Preseason MaxPreps Top 100.

Nevada — Dedan Thomas, Liberty (Henderson)

2021-22 third team MaxPreps Junior All-America selection tallied 14 points, 5.1 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals to guide the Patriots to the Class 5A state title last season. Liberty begins the year ranked No. 25 in the nation.

New Hampshire — Tyler Bike, Trinity (Manchester)

Returning first team Division I All-State selection played the hero in the state title game last season as a sophom*ore, finishing with a team-high 23 points and coming away with the game-clinching steal in the closing seconds.

New Jersey — D.J. Wagner, Camden

First team Preseason MaxPreps All-America selection averaged 19.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 3.3 assists to guide the Panthers to the Tournament of Champions title game. No. 2-ranked senior prospect recently committed to Kentucky.

New Mexico — Jalin Holland, Los Lunas
