Leaving No Veteran Behind
LONE EAGLE
The Lone Eagle Honor Flight ensures that all veterans, regardless of their geographic location in the U.S., are able to participate in their Honor Flight Experience.
The Honor Flight Network’s mission is to fly our nation’s veterans to Washington DC to visit the memorials and monuments dedicated to honoring their service and sacrifice. While the Honor Flight Network is comprised of over 125 Honor Flight Hubs around the country, not every area is serviced by a regional Hub. The Lone Eagle Honor Flight ensures that all veterans, regardless of their geographic location in the U.S., are able to participate in an Honor Flight trip. The Lone Eagle Hub honors veterans of all service eras, but gives priority to those who served during WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam Era and the time periods between these conflicts.
The TLC Program is an arm of Lone Eagle that additionally serves critically ill veterans of all service eras who have less than one year to live.

Find a Guardian
Veterans are required to have a guardian for their trip. If you are a veteran, consider your son, daughter, grandson or granddaughter. Guardians must be 18 years of age and older. If you don’t have a guardian, we have a wait list of those who are available and ready to travel with you.

Wait For Your Call
Once you have applied as a veteran, now we ask for your patience. Our list isn't huge, but there is a waiting list about 1 1/2 to 2 years. We will call you once your place in line has been reached. If your health diminishes - please contact us right away.

Honor Flight would not be successful without the dedicated help provided by the volunteers. Assistance is required from office management and clerical support to airport assistance that aids the veterans both at the beginning and at the end of each trip. Please consider the wide range of opportunities; every little bit helps.
