The MLB has implemented security screening for all fans that attend a major league baseball game. This procedure will be followed by all 30 major baseball teams in order to standardize their security protocol.
Guests will enter through metal detectors and be asked to empty pockets and place items in a small plastic container. A small metal detecting wand can be used in place of the walk through detector. All personal items will remain in close proximity to the Guest as they are being moved through the security process.
Many of these major league teams allow soft-sided bags no bigger than 16x16x8. Hard sided bags or containers will not be allowed in the venue.
