RETURN H&M ITEMS

Returns are free for Members! To return H&M items log in to our return portal below then select the best option for you.

    • H&M are happy to refund within 28 days for any unsuitable items, provided they are unworn, unwashed and in a resalable condition.
    • To return to our warehouse, log in to ourreturns portaland let us know what you want to return and why.
    • Then select your preferred return method to arrange your collection or drop off.
    • Our original packaging can be reused but, if you no longer have it, make sure it’s in something watertight. If you can reuse something you have at home, even better!
    • You can return more than one order in the same parcel, just make sure that you register a return for each separate order.
    Royal Mail – no printer required
    Book your returnonline and a QR code will be generated to print your label at the Post Office when you drop off your parcel.
    Evri Parcel Shop – no printer required
    Book your returnonline and a QR code will be generated to print your label at the Parcel Shop when you drop off your parcel. Find your nearest Parcel Shophere!
    Evri courier collection – printer required
    Book your returnonline and a label will be generated for you to print at home.
    This is the only option available forJersey & Guernseyand for parcels over15kg or more than 120cm long.

    If you would rather return in store, just show the return in store QR code in your app or order confirmation email.Please note that incorrect orders (e.g. wrong or missing items), furniture and lighting can only be returned to our online warehouse.Products bought on hm.com from other brands cannot be returned in store, please follow the return instructions included in the parcel from that brand.

    Exceptions:

    • Please note that our return policy may differ for designer, special collections and our external home assortment, including flowers and plants. Rabanne H&M online purchases must be returned to online.
    • H&M HOME items cannot be returned in Northern Ireland stores.
    • Flowers and plants cannot be returned.
    • Furniture and lighting should be returned in the original packaging.
    • Fabric face masks cannot be returned due to safety and hygiene reasons.
    • Items purchased in store must be returned to store.
    • For hygiene and safety reasons, we can only accept returns of cosmetics and pierced jewellery items if the product is unopened.
    • If you ordered items from our external home assortment please follow the instructions detailed on the paperwork included in your parcel, or in the email containing return information.

    • A small number of products cannot be returned to store, should you try to return one of these items, our store staff will support you in other ways to place your return.

    RETURN ITEMS FROM OTHER BRANDS

    Returns are free for Members!To return items from our other brands ordered on hm.com follow the instructions below and select the best option for you.

    H&M are happy to refund for any unsuitable items within 28 days from the day that you have received your parcel, provided they are unworn, unwashed and in a resalable condition.

    Products bought on hm.com from other brands cannot be returned in store, please follow the return instructions included in the parcel from each brand.Fresh flowers and plants cannot be returned.

    Return instructions for COS, & Other Stories, ARKET, Monki and Weekday items:

    • Fill in the return note to let us know what you want to return and why.
    • You can return more than one order or parcel at once if you include all relevant return notes in the parcel.
    • Select one of the below options to make your return.
    • Northern Ireland orders must be returned viaUPS.

    Return options for England, Wales & Scotland:

    Evri Parcel Shop
    Attach the label in your parcel and take it to your nearestEvri parcel shop. Evri will provide you with a drop-off receipt where you can track the progress of your return.
    Evri Courier Collection
    Attach the label in your parcel and arrange for Evri to pick up your returnhere.Evri will collect your return from your chosen address and provide you with a receipt, which you can use to trackthe progress of your return.
    Royal Mail
    Register your return in theRoyal Mail Return Portaland select the brand your items are from, not H&M.You will receive an email including two free labelling options.
    1. QR code - show the code on your mobile phone, and a label will then be printed for you in the Post Office.
    2. PDF label - print the label at home and fix it to your parcel.
    Visit your nearest Post Office to drop off your parcel. Royal Mail will provide you with a postage receipt where you can track the parcel’s progress.

    Return options for Northern Ireland:

    UPS drop-off
    Take your parcel to your nearestUPS Access Point. UPS will provide you with a drop-off receipt where you can track the parcel's progress.​
    UPS home collection

    Arrange for UPS to pick up your return by clickinghere. Await your Return Confirmation email, which we will send when we have processed your return.​

    Need a new return form for our other brands?

    You can print one at home. Remember to fill in all your order details.
    If you don't have a printer you can copy the information onto a piece of paper and include this in the parcel.

    Need a new Evri Return Label?Clickhereto generate another. You'll need your order number and delivery address and select ARKET, & Other Stories, Monki or Weekday.

    Need a new UPS Return Label (Northern Ireland)?If you need a replacement UPS label for returns in Northern Ireland, pleasecontact us.

    Returns are free for all H&M Members! Not a member yet? Sign uphere.

    For non-members, there is a £1.99 return fee per return parcel when returning online orders to our warehouse. This will be deducted from your refund. You will not be charged the fee if an item is determined to be faulty or incorrect so please make sure to note that information when registering your return.

    Please note that if you paid a delivery fee, this will only be refunded if you return all items from the original order.

    Online returns in store are always free of charge, there will be no return fee for any parcels returned in store.

    • H&M are happy to refund within 28 days for any unsuitable items, provided they are in resalable condition.
    • If you are unable to go back to the original store you made your purchase in you can return to another H&M store in the UK.

    Exceptions:Please note that our return policy may differ for Designer, special collections and fabric face masks cannot be returned due to safety and hygiene reasons. We also have restrictions on the returns of some H&M HOME items.Items purchased in store must be returned to store.This does not affect your statutory rights.

    H&M Furniture and lighting can only be returned to our online warehouse, not to store.All furniture and lighting must be returned in the original packaging.

    Some of our furniture and lighting are sent in parcels larger than our standard packaging.All large parcels can only be returned using courier collection.If you need to book a return for a parcel over 15kg or over 700x500x600mm then please use thislink.

    Your refund will be made to the same payment method you used to place the order. For any returns made after the return period of 28 days, we reserve the right to refund you via a e-Merchandise Card. For more information, please refer to the

    Returns made via Royal Mail, Drop off point or courier:

    • You will be refunded to the same payment method you used to make the purchase.
    • Please allow up to 14 days for your refund to be issued.
    • Your delivery fee will be refunded if you return all items in your order.
    • Once we have processed your return in our warehouse, we will send you an email as notice of cancellation.

    If you have not received your return email after 14 days, pleasecontact uswith your order number and our team will be happy to help!

    Returns made in store:

    • You will be refunded to the same payment method you used to make the purchase.
    • You will receive an email confirmation of your return and will be able to view your return receipt in your account.

    Exchanges made in store:

    • You can also exchange in store up to the amount of the returned items.
    • We are not able to offer exchanges if you paid by Klarna or PayPal.

    Report a return with Klarna:

    • Go toMy purchases– H&M x Klarna to report your return.
    • Your invoice from Klarna will be put on hold until your return is handled, and you’ll receive an updated statement from Klarna.

    Refunds to Gift Cards:

    • If you return items paid for by H&M Gift Card you will be issued an e-gift card with an updated balance via email.
    • If you used a combination of payment methods, you will be refunded to your debit/credit card, Klarna or PayPal first then the remainder will be be issued as an e-gift card.
    • Example:If you have ordered items for £40 and paid £20 with a gift card and £20 with a credit card and later return items to the value of £30, you will receive £20 to the credit card you used at purchase and the remaining £10 will be issued as a new gift card.

    Our H&M returns are now paperless! Log in to register a returnhereand book your collection or drop off to get a label to print at home or a QR code to print it at the Parcel Shop or Post Office.

    If you ordered items from our other brands please follow the instructions detailed on your delivery note, email, or contactCustomer Serviceif you need help to return these items.

    All H&M store purchases must be returned to store.

    You can also use the address below for H&M online returns, excluding external brands home assortment. Please note that this will be at your own cost.

    Any items purchased online from our Studio collection should be returned within 7 days.

    Items bought online must be returned to our warehouse, not to store.

    Any items purchased online from our H2 collection must be returned online. These cannot be returned in store.

    All the necessary parts for your H&M HOME items should be included in the parcel, so if they are not we are here to help.

    Right of withdrawal:
    You always have the right to withdraw from your order within 14 days, without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is counted from the day of the delivery of the last good(s) in your order. The easiest way to exercise your right of withdrawal is to return the goods to us by booking a return in theportal.

    However, to meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to let us know about your decision to withdraw from your order, before the withdrawal period has expired. For questions regarding withdrawal, please contactCustomer Service.

    Effects of withdrawal:
    We will refund all payments received from you, including the costs of our standard delivery option, without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw. We will use the same means of payment that you used to pay for your order and this will not cause you any extra fees. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

    You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 28 days from the day on which you received your item(s).

    You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods
